Let's close out another year of fun hikes with an easy Bayside walk from Middle Park to Elwood and back followed by a chilled brunch at The Sandbar.

Let's close out another year of fun hikes with an easy Sunday Bayside walk from Middle Park to Elwood and back followed by a beach side chilled brunch at The Sandbar.
We meet outside The Sandbar Cafe at 8.50am and walk towards Elwood. If the weather is pleasant we walk to Ormond Point Lookout in Elwood and back, a total distance of about 10km. If it is very warm we may do a shorter walk, and take chill breaks along the way for cold drinks or ice cream, making it back to The Sandbar for a relaxed beach side brunch around 11.00am.
The Sandbar currently does not take bookings (walk in only) so we will just rock up and try to get tables at the rear sun deck or beach chairs. :) Bring your bathers if you fancy a dip in the bay.
