About the event

This beautiful 15km out and back walk in Melbourne's West will take us through the natural wetlands of Jawbone Marine Sanctuary in Williamstown to the Coastal Park and Cherry Lake in Altona. The mangroves, seagrass and rock pools host a diverse range of sea birds and marine life.


We meet and start walking at 9.00am at Crystals Steps at the Gloucester Reserve in Williamstown. There is ticketed parking at Williamstown Beach West End Car Park or free parking (according to Google Maps) along Esplanade, Victoria Street, Hannan Street or Bayview Street. Please check signs. Please arrive earlier to find parking so we can start walking at 9am.
