George Bass Coastal Hike Kilcunda to Punchbowl 16km

This is a breathtakingly beautiful hike along the rugged George Bass Coast. The 16km hike offers panoramic coastal vistas along cliff tops rising above pounding waves. Expect stunning cliff top views, crashing wave and blow holes, and abundant bird life.

This hike from Kilcunda to Punchbowl and back is 16km on natural gravel trail with total elevation gain of about 400m. If there has been rain on previous days, there may be a few muddy spots. Hiking shoes/boots with good traction and poles (if you use them) are recommended. The trail is very exposed to sun/wind/rain please come prepared. The hike will take around 4 hours +/-, please carry plenty of water and snacks as required. Please also carry a personal first aid kit, including snake bite bandages.

We start the hike at 9.45am so please arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier to get ready.
