About the event

This is an enjoyable trail through the Churchill National Park and Lysterfield Hills. This moderate hike features good variation in scenery, a few gradients and forest types, with high probability of encountering kangaroos along the way, and panoramic views at Trig Lookout.

This customised route incorporates two loops taking us through the heart of Churchill National Park. The journey offers a fantastic mix of environments, from shaded woodlands to open ridges. Total distance is around 12km with an elevation gain of 430m.

Meeting Point: We will meet at the car park on Bayview Track after turning right from Army Track. Use the Google Maps drop pin provided to navigate to meeting point. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier so we can start walking at 9.00am. If this small parking area is full, there is another car park about 80m further down Army Track at the barbecue area.
