About the event
A favourite city-fringe walk around Yarra Bend starting from the newly completed ramp at Abbotsford.
This 10km walk on the Yarra Trail starting from the new ramp in Abbotsford will take us pass Collingwood Children's Farm, Dights Falls, Merri Creek Labyrinth & Wishing Tree, Studley Park, Galatea Point where you get an aerial view of Dights Falls, and returning on a sidehill trail along the Yarra.
The trail is a mixed of paved paths and natural gravel. There is a short section of uphill on loose gravel and also a narrow single file uneven gravel track on the side hill of the Yarra. Please wear shoes with good traction.
We will start the walk punctually by 9.00am at the corner of Gipps Street and Victoria Crescent, Abbotsford (meet in front of the Salvos).
